Plant Material Warranty Information

MATTHIAS LANDSCAPING guarantees that our plants are hardy and healthy at the time of installation.  During this warranty period trees, shrubs, and perennials are warranted to the original purchaser for one year.  Trees, shrubs, or perennials will be replaced one (1) time, labor is not a warranty item and will be billed at standard hourly rates on plants that die for any reason other than neglect or damage.

Neglect consists of under watering or over watering. Damage includes the following: insect, rabbit, deer or other animal damage, mower or trimmer damage, vandalism damage, improper pruning, over fertilization, herbicide drift, excessive wind, hail, lightning, or other weather related issues caused by extreme abnormal weather conditions.

The option to "trade up" to a larger size is available. We will apply the original purchase price of the plant that died toward the price of a larger plant.

Other issues regarding warranty claims will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

 

Seed and/or Sod Warranty Information

MATTHIAS LANDSCAPING guarantees that it installs high quality seed and/or sod that is capable of producing a successful lawn.  We cannot, however, control subsequent weather and maintenance which determines the success or failure of the lawn.  We therefore guarantee seed/sod quality and installation workmanship only.

Other issues regarding warranty claims will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
